A meeting was held in Gabala with family members of those martyred during the Patriotic War, as well as during the April 2016 battles and ceasefire
On December 27, 2021, a meeting of the heads of Gabala Region’s Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, Gabala Regional Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and the Region’s Education Department with the family members of the martyrs who died during the Patriotic War, as well as the April 2016 battles and ceasefire was held. During the meeting, parents were heard, existing problems were discussed and some of the issues raised were resolved on the spot, and relevant instructions were given to solve the others. At the end, family members of the martyrs were awarded the Honorary Decree by the region’s executive power on the occasion of their active participation in the public life of the region and the upcoming holidays of December 31 - Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and New Year. Speaking at the event, the family members of the martyrs expressed their deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention paid to their problems and care shown to them.
