The National Priority Program forms an ideological core of Azerbaijan’s new development road.

Approval of the “Azerbaijan 2030: “National Priorities on socio-economic development” is the personification of the strategical planning on state management. The National Priorities also make up the unity of national interests and strategical planning along with being an initiative that serves the development of the state and the welfare of society. The strategical management method serving the risk reduction, rapid development of the industries, as well as setting sectoral priorities, also builds the future development view of our country. Azerbaijan is known as a country which ensures a stable, secure and modern standard of living by confidently followed the path of socio-economic and cultural evolution. All necessary factors are available to ensure the constant development of the country in Azerbaijan. International influence of the country increased importantly; statehood traditions were strengthened in the society; contemporary socio-economic infrastructural construction was successfully implemented. Of course, new development stage launched virtually in Azerbaijan with the Victory gained in the Patriotic War. Undoubtedly, reintegration of liberated territories as a result of Victory into overall economy of the country and profiting from the opportunities of new international and regional transportation-logistic roads will stimulate Azerbaijan’s economy. Establishment of stability, welfare and mutual benefit cooperation, as well as development of socio-economic relations will further strengthen the role and status of Azerbaijan, a leading state of Southern Caucasus in the setting of general architecture of the regional economy. The successful socio-economic and political achievements, national and multicultural values further develop trust for the power of Azerbaijan located at the crossroads of the East and West in future years. These opportunities ensure that Azerbaijan’s economic sovereignty will become stronger and powerful state with high social welfare society based on modern standard of living by 2030. Therefore, the program “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities on socio-economic development” approved by the relevant Order of President Ilham Aliyev, forms ideological core of our country’s new development road. Everyone living in Azerbaijan must have a citizenship duty to serve the maintenance and realization of the national priorities in the socio-economic development of the country, because the said National Priorities will contribute for the state, society and individual development. Economic reforms to be conducted will provide the citizens’ social welfare, and every citizen will derive benefit from the development. As not only economic growth, but also the social welfare of all members of society is an important factor for high development, as the economy develops, the wealth and income of citizens, including wages, will be increased and a decent level will be ensured. The National Priorities also assume importance on the obligation performance arising from “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” of the United Nations. Overall, the National Priorities will create a society based on strong compatible economy and dynamic, inclusive and social injustice; competitive human capital and modern innovations’ place will be established; the great return to liberated lands will begin and Azerbaijan will turn into a country with clean environment and “green growth”.
