On the occasion of the thirty-first anniversary of the January 20th tragedy, the Alley of Martyrs and the graves of the Patriotic War martyrs were visited in Gabala.
On January 20, the responsible executives of the Gabala Region Executive Power, law enforcement, other government agencies, and public representatives visited the Alley of Martyrs, laid flowers to the graves of valiant Gabala residents, fallen for the freedom of our land. Then the graves of the martyrs who gave life for country during the Second Karabakh War were visited. They were paid last respects and flowers were laid to their resting places.
The region administration met with the families of the martyrs, studied their concerns, gave appropriate instructions for their solution, and took control over their implementation.
The martyrs' families expressed their gratitude to the Head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for shown attention and care.
